The Millet ve Adalet Partisi (MİLAD) was founded in 4477 to create an economically more liberal economy based on laissez-faire capitalism with mild regulation when needed. The party also sought to strengthen the Jakanian military. PARTY LEADERSHIP: Başkan (Chairperson): Turkdogan Mehmet (since 4484) Bakan (Secretary): Aslan Hussein (since 4484) Büyük Millet Meclisi Lideri (Grand National Assembly Leader):Fatmagul Demirbas (since 4480) * Cumhurbaşkanı (President): Ozen Acar (since 4488) Başkan Vekili/ Senato Lideri (Vice President/ Leader of the Senate): Olgun Peker (since 4488) PARTY STRUCTURE: Ulusal Kongre (National Convention) - comprised of 2,935 members appointed by the legislative delegation, and chaired by the party Başkan. This body sets the platform for the party when it meets before each election season. They also vote on the party's nominee for Cumhurbaşkanı. |
