Description[?]:
Casa delle Libertà Partito (CLP) [Freedom House Party] INTRODUCTION AND PREAMBLE Freedom House (also known as House of Freedoms) is a broad-based coalition of grassroots civic organizations and regional political parties that joined together in 2207, to further the expansion of freedom across the Dolgarian Empire. Although our primary party base originated in the province of Karzon, concerned citizens from Lirath, Quagotu, Kirzon Valley, and Hodari are joining our ranks daily to voice their support for classical regional values over mislaid loyalty for national consensus. The party’s fundamental conviction is that freedom is possible only in a democratic political system in which all levels of government are accountable to their respective constituencies. Our members believe that government closest to the people is best suited to ensure that the rule of law prevails. We also maintain that, within a federalist system, local government is the most capable of guaranteeing freedoms of expression, association, belief and respect for the rights of minorities and women. Therefore, CLP is a vigorous proponent of democratic values and a steadfast opponent of utilitarian, conformist dictatorships of the far left and the far right. This foundation of liberty is the keystone that buttresses the four pillars of our party’s “house.” FOUR PILLARS PILLAR I: All government is local because we exercise our freedoms, rights, and privileges as citizens in our homes, neighborhoods, and communities. Therefore, government must be small and answerable to its primary constituency. PILLAR II: All industry and commerce is local because we produce and exchange goods most often with our immediate neighbors. Therefore, our neighborhoods, townships, and cities must be free to promote climates that are advantageous to healthy commercial competition. PILLAR III: All defence is local because we will defend what is closest to our homes and dearest to our hearts. Futhermore, history has proven that the best defence is a populace who prepares for war while actively brokering peace. PILLAR IV: All faith is local because moral determination and the free exercise of religion are ever-present elements of our daily lives. God determines what is moral and just, therefore every citizen must be free to honor His supremacy through the practice of unhindered religion. CALL TO ACTION Every day we strive to spread our fundamental belief in the power of local democracy to secure domestic peace, economic prosperity, and the free exercise of faith. Join us! Help us champion freedom and expand liberty from community to community across our great land! |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
Random quote: "There is only one difference between dictatorship and democracy. In democracy, you vote and then take orders; in dictatorship you don't waste time voting." - Joseph Stalin |
