Description[?]:
Statement on the Ideology, Principles and Strategy of the Communist Freedom Front The December 2177 congress of the Socialist Platform resolved that the party be renamed The Communist Freedom Front. This is to better reflect the parties ideological development from a position of Anarchist/Reformist Idealism to a consciously Marxist and Proletarian orientation. The party identifies itself with the strand of Marxist thought commonly referred to as Left Communism or Libertarian Marxism. The congress resolved that the party would organise itself round the following principles. COMMUNISM Our aim is common ownership of the means of production and exchange on the principle of from each according to ability, to each according to need. FREEDOM We will fight for the greatest degree of personal, social and democratic freedoms WORKER'S DEMOCRACY The basis of society must be control of the economy by democratic workers councils, this is the only way to avoid bureaucratic deformation of the socialist society UNITY AGAINST THE FASCIST THREAT The working class must stand together in the face of Fascism or risk extermination, however this unity can not only exist in fine phrases but must be a practical reality. To this end the CFF calls on all working class parties to support the formation of a Worker's Self Defence Alliance to organise the defence of our communities and institutions against Fascist thuggery, we shall also attempt to take further practical steps towards socialist unity whilst maintaining our own distinct program and ideology. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
