Charter: The Rally for the Republic is a Lodamunian political party that was founded on four key principles: Democratic-rule by the masses, opposed to unearned privilege in the public sphere. Liberal-a vision of public rights that is committed to individual choice and liberty. Secular: a government that remains free from dogma and respects all faiths by enshrining none. Radical: Neither progressive nor conservative, but committed to unchanging revolutionary principles of mass social change. (OOC: no one is probably reading this, but it's fun. These are only similar, not carbon-copy-to my views) History: Founded in 3708. Random quote: "Civil disobedience. . . is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. . Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem." - Howard Zinn |
