Description[?]:
United Aldegarian Party, founded in December 31, 3600; refounded: March 15, 4675 UAP Ideological Stance: - Overall: Centre --Big Tent --Nationalism --Republicanism --Social Centrism ---Social Conservatism (minority) ---Social Progressivism (minority) ---Social Liberalism (minority) --Economic Liberalism Basic Outline: The foundation of the national level party is the United Aldegarian Congress (UAC) which consists of 100 delegates per province, 75 seats for business and commercial groups, 25 seats for civil society groups, and 25 seats for labour groups (for a total of 625 delegates). The Congress meets every 5 years to elect new leadership, update the party platform, and handle any outstanding issues. In between the five years the Administrative Committee of the UAC (ACUAC or more commonly ADCOM) meets, usually in a plenary session every 6 months to review the semi-annual Party Work Report, updating the Congress on pertinent issues. The United Aldegarian Executive Committee (UAEC) is a 125 member body elected every five years by the Congress to oversee the work of the Executive Secretariat (which provides administrative support to the party institutions), the Central Party Office (which handles political and social activity), and the Aldegarian Political Institute (API; develops, trains, indoctrinates, and educates party officials and leaders). The Executive Secretariat (EXSEC) is responsible for daily party activities and work, providing support to meetings of party officials, and operating party buildings. The Secretary-General heads of the office; he is nominated by the UAEC and confirmed by the UAC every five years although if the position becomes vacant ADCOM can approve and interim nominee until the full Congress can be called to meet. - Secretary-General - Deputy Secretary-General --Director, Administrative Support Office --Director, Records Management and Archives --Director, Information Systems and Networks --Director, Security --Director, Pay and Personnel The Central Party Office has a more political role directly overseen by the UAEC. The Director-General of the office is charged with handling more sensitive, and dynamic outreach, policy development, and political coordination. Importantly the office is in charge of campaign management and development, recruiting candidates for office, and handling relations with social groups. - Director-General --Deputy Director-General ---Coordinator, Policy Research and Development ---Coordinator, Candidate Recruitment ---Coordinator, Social and Commercial Relations ----Assistant Coordinator, Religious and Spiritual Outreach ----Assistant Coordinator, Small and Medium Business Outreach ----Assistant Coordinator, Large Enterprise Outreach ----Assistant Coordinator, Community and Ethnic Outreach ----Assistant Coordinator, Veterans and Military Outreach ---Coordinator, International Relations ---Coordinator, Campaign Management The Aldegar Political Institute (API) is the party's main school designed to develop the cadre and party officials. Courses are regularly taught on policy, campaigning, and leadership. The President of the API reports directly to the UAEC. On a more ad-hoc basis to deal with important issues and to bring important party stakeholders together, the UAEC created the Political Bureau and the Oversight Bureau (Politburo, and Overburo respectively). The former is the prime gathering of top leaders to quickly address issues and set a common direction for the party institutions to follow. The latter is to conduct consist and proper oversight of daily party operations. Affiliated and related civil society groups: - Aldegar Policy Council (official party think tank) - Community Outreach Foundation (network of local community groups advocating for local and social issues) - Yazdism Coordinating Congress (broad based religious group to promote the unity of the Yazdi faith) - Conference of Hosian Faithful (broad based religious group to promote the unity and interests of Hosians) - Aldegar Chamber of Commerce (commercial group of small and medium enterprises) - Aldegar Business Alliance (commercial group of major conglomerates) - Centre for International Affairs (party funded international think tank) Paramilitary wing of the party: National People's Militia; strength~ 12,000 |
