Description[?]:

The Reform Party (Siphinan: Partia e Reformës, Kalopi: Κόμμα Μεταρρυθμίσεων, Istochniak: Reformska Partija) is a centre-right political party within Kalopia.

Economically, the party supports privatisation of all major industries, whilst providing subsidisation to all low-income earners. They believe that this allows for better services for the people, as well as closes up inequality between the rich and poor.

The PR also backs a deregulation of the market, to allow for greater economic growth, so that more can be created for the worst off in society.

Socially, the party is staunchly liberal in its beliefs, but does not agree with the government playing an active role within regulation regarding civil liberty. Whilst it backs abortion in the first and second trimesters, it disagrees with funding by the government.

The party was formed by Siphinan economist Pëllumbardh Qosja, and has its headquarters in Fëmijëqytet, Siphina.

REFOUNDED:

The Reform Party was recreated in 4320 by Malan Berisha. Initially formed to be a movement for children of former Reform Party members who were heavily persecuted in the military junta, the party remains strong to its neolibertarian position, however also holds a Kalopi-Siphinan nationalist stance that puts them at odds against both Majatrans and Turjaks.

It supports the recreation of the Republic of Kalopi-Siphina.

Reform Party's Key Philosophies:
- Neolibertarianism
- Kalopi-Siphinan Nationalism
- Classical Liberalism

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leader:

Milo Minosasa (4329-Present)
Milo Minosasa grew up in the Capital of Eleopolis in Seshold to wealthy parents, however they were killed during the brutal military junta of 4307-14 as the Turjak nationalists stormed the streets of the capital. This led Minosasa down a more violent path, before he found the Children of the Reform Party Organisation, who funded a Political Sciences Degree for him at the Helios University. Playing a large part in the CotRP Rallies, he rose up the ranks, eventually making it to the leader of the Children of the Reform Party paramilitary once it had split with the political party. He began to gain prominence as a charismatic and forward speaker, and won the Leadership Election of 4329 on the basis of his hard line position towards the Turjak Nationalist, Homeland Party.

Former Leaders:

Pëllumbardh Qosja 4291-4294
A Siphinan economist, Pëllumbardh is the founder of the Reform Party and a lifelong activist for the greater recognition of Siphinan and Istochniak peoples within Kalopia. He has lived in Siphina all his life and can remember the Socialist regime in which his family lost all their wealth made from the anarchic society beforehand. He was shot and killed by an extremist whilst fulfilling his duties as President.

Dranush Haxhi 4294-4305
The Former Finance Minister, now Leader of the Reform Party, and President of Kalopi-Siphina is a wealthy Siphinan politician with a background in business. His strong stance against anti-Kalopian threats was tested immediately into his tenure as President, as he faced off with the Solentian radical and idiot, Luna Dawn.

Malan Berisha 4320-4329
Philosophy student Malan Berisha refounded the Reform Party in 4320. His parents were killed by the brutal military junta that persecuted many Siphinan people - especially those who were involved in the original Reform Party. He resigned following his election as President for the second time, citing the stress of the role.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
