Description[?]:

Le Parti Conservateur Libertaire (founded in 4191, as Le Parti Libertaire) supports a libertarian-conservatism ideology. We support greater business freedom, and deregulation of the market, developing an economically libertarian view.

The PCL believes that a small central government is necessary to regulate social morality, but not economics. Despite this, the party is comparatively permissive regarding other social issues, such as homosexuality and guaranteeing that those on the lowest incomes are supported.

The party also advocates for the greater recognition of Lourennian's orginal Orincan culture. This party wishes to promote some of the old traditions of from our original heritage.

Our Key Policies:

1) Release regulations on business to stimulate the economy, and create a greater competition between national and international companies. Workers' rights and work hours will be met through competition not by unnecessary government intervention.

2) Reintroduce the agreement reached between the Parti Conservateur Libertaire and the AVL and reinstate the Abortion Status Bill. The rights of the child are being neglected, and unless it threatens the life of the mother physically or mentally, it should not be killed. Abortion should be used in cases where it is necessary, not as a contraceptive. It is also imperative to make sure that taxpayers do not have to pay for others to have an abortion. This was one of the PCL's first commitments, and it remains a priority after the House reintroduced it, unfortunately, in 4220.

3) Fight for fair representation of the ethnic minorities within Lourenne. Whilst many within this party were brought up in the affluent Louives, we all stand for a greater recognition of the original Orinco culture, and greater awareness of its people. We aim to eventually claim Orinco as an official language of Lourenne, and relegate Luthorian to an unofficial language.

Quote: December 4198, Mathieu Lambert
- "This bill is not about free trade, it is about socialism. It tries to abolish any inequality gap, not by making the poor richer, but by making the rich poorer."

Quote: March 4213, Mathieu Lambert
- "Can the PR stop living in the bureaucratic box they have trapped themselves in, and actually listen and talk to the poor."

Quote: November 4226, Edmond Lambert
- "Trust me. If we wanted to ridicule you, we would talk about your policies."

The leader of the party, who is known as the Director, is an elected individual supported by the majority of the party through a vote. Our logo is the Quetzal, the true national animal of Lourenne. It represents our original culture. The bird symbolises both freedom and wealth, suggesting that the freer the Lourennian people are, the more wealthy they shall become.
