Description[?]:
http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Royal_Crown_Alliance The Royal Crown Alliance, formerly known as the Tory Party, founded in 2913. Disbanded shortly before the 4th Millenium, and revived on the first day of Our Lord's Year 3162 to counter-act the blasphemous treason of the Mordusian Union of Liberty and the self-styled "President of the Republic" Richard Vermillion. Key cause: Restoration and further defense of the Holy Mordusian monarchy under House Orange-Villayn The Alliance is highly representative of the traditional aristocracy of Mordusia and its supporters, as well as the United Episcopal Church of Mordusia. The RCA also maintains good relations with the Selucian Catholic Church and the Mordusian Calvinist-Presbyterian Union. The Alliance is especially proud of its creation and passage of the following platform-establishing bills: the Land Preservation Act of 2916, Reorganization of Lords Act of 2921, Region Empowerment Act of 2924, the budget and tax acts of 2930, the Demographic Preservation Act of 2933, Religious Freedom and Restoration Act of 2949, and the Banishment Act of 2949. The crowning historical achievement of the Alliance is the passage of the Restoration of House Orange-Villayn and the Holy Mordusian Empire Act of 3171, which formally deposed the liberal republican government and brought Mordusia back under the Crown of Mordus. For Eddard Cecil's efforts in the restoration, the legislature, as approved by His Imperial Majesty Phillip I, bestowed upon the Dukes of Sammodra the hereditary title of Lord Protector of the Crown. The Alliance has traditionally been led by the Dukes of Sammodra of the old House Cecil of Clann, the descendants of the Great House Vickenson, beginning with Robert Cecil, 6th Duke of Sammodra. The RCA is currently led by Charles Alfred Cecil, 12th Duke of Sammodra. Following are the years in which the Alliance was part of the Government: 2917~2919 2929~2937 2952~2956 3170~Present The Royal Crown Alliance's crest is the family crest and banner of the Dukes of Sammodra - the cross representing devotion to God and Christian principles, the two lilies standing for the Duchy of Sammodra and above it the Crown of Mordus, and the hounds symbolizing the House's dedication to loyally defending the Realm. |
