The Communal Good Alliance started as a political think tank group that gained a following under the chairmanship of Abram Green. The group emphasized practical solutions to the economy, leaning more democratic socialist, and liberal on social issues. The group officially filed for the right to run in elections in 3118 and endorsed or spoke out against legislation to allow voters to understand their political positions. The 3123 elections showed the CGA's influence with their winning of the Presidency and the most seats in the Assembly in their first showing ever.
