The SDA is a centre-left, social democratic political organisation. Formed by the merger of a smattering of small left wing elements, the Party has moulded itself into a more centrist position whilst retaining it's socialist routes. The Party supports the free organisation of labour, workers rights, fair pay and conditions, gender equality, BME advancement, nationalisation of industry, high taxation of the wealthy and a strong welfare state. It opposes fascism, racism, nuclear proliferation and armament, laisez faire capitalism, bankers bonuses and worker exploitation. |
