Description[?]:
Our Views: Centralization-we believe that the central government should have the final power, but we also support devolving laws which are nescesary to be different for different localities. Examples include waste desposal, the maintenence of power lines, etc. Civil Rights-we believe that too many restrictions have been put on the ability of the police to do thier job. We support giving the government and police extensive power to combat crime, and feel that the security of the populace must come before the much-vaunted "rights" of criminals. Ecology-The environment is a resource for humans to use, and we support "people before animals". However, we do think that some environmental protections are nescesary. Foreign Relations-This country should be an independent power and assertive for it's interests. We believe the treaties and multinational institutions are threats to our national soverenty. Economy-the party is split on this issue. On the one hand, there are the "free market" people who would like to see as little regulation as possible. On the other hand the "populists" want to regulate the economy more. Our economic bills are thus split. Generaly we favor privitization and a free market but support a minimum wage, national health care, and certain other regulations which are practical (water quality laws, public power lines, health and saftey laws etc.) Millitary- a strong millitary is nescesary to protect our nation. We support a draft to increase military manpower. Morality-We believe that years of liberal policies have eroded the morality of this nation. We need action to restore morality in society. We will crack down on drug users, and abortion doctors. Religion-Religion should be restored to it's rightful place in society. We support ending the tax on religions, and giving religion more freedom. We oppose the current national church. WE ARE PROUD TO BE REACTIONARY! Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
