KIRLAWAN SOCIAL PARTY (3751- ) We're a left-wing libertarian party, focusing on social welfare through economic regulation and adapted capitalism. PARTY GENERAL SECRETARIAT Nicolas Rhodes (3751 -) IDEOLOGY Political Compass - http://www.politicalcompass.org/test Economic Left/Right: -5.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.03 ISSUE STANCE CENTRALIZATION Each province has its values and traditions. For such reason, they should be respected and given the power to act accordingly to their local populations' will. The central government must maintain its power to act and influence these regions, however guaranteeing a certain degree of devolution. CIVIL RIGHTS Everyone has the right to be whatever it wants in our society. This is our standing. Any matters related the private life of the citizens is of their concern and, as long as it doesn't inflict harm on others, it isn't the competence of the government to act on it. The government must promote all kinds of equality through all means available, encouraging diversity and respect throughout society. ECOLOGY Nature is our first wealth. For such reason it shall be protected, conserved and preserved. Corporations offer big risks and shall be regulated and monitored to comply with the construction of a greener tomorrow. FOREIGN RELATIONS Our county must keep its borders open and maintain official and reciprocal relations with any country, indiscriminatingly. Foreign aid is a positive way to contribute with the development of Terra. GOVERNMENT RESPONSABILITIES Seeing the government as the ultimate representation of our population, it is only right that it acts so to comply with the needs and demands of the people. On account of that, it must act with relative freedom and moderate power, intervening when appropriate, without conflicting with democracy and liberty. MARKET A moderately regulated market provides the stability and security necessary to ensure growth, whilst promoting social equality. We're very moderate on this stance, analysing case-to-case, but always siding with equality and competitiveness. MILITARY The mere presence of military is enough to instigate tensions amongst other countries and our people. Notwithstanding the need to protect our sovereignty, military forces are overwhelming and should be kept to a minimum, both in size and force. Our military policy is a direct consequence of our foreign affairs stance. MORALITY Our libertarian foundations guide us to a progressive path. We're pro-choice, pro-euthanasia, pro-equal rights. We believe that progressiveness is the path to a freer and more equal society. RELIGION Religion interference is oppressive and does harm to our constitutionally established freedoms and equality. So as to protect these ideals, we're in favour of a secular state, free of any religious intermission, leaving this to personal criteria. |
