The Democratic Party (Canrillaise: Union Démocratique) or UD is a liberal democratic political party in the State of Alduria focusing on "political liberty" and laisse faire economic policy. The party has moderate conservative and hosian leanings. The party was founded by Aldurian business leader, philanthropist and social activist Zacharie Pierre, as well as a number of key stakeholders and politicians from across Aldurian society.
