Description[?]:
The Democratic Centrist Party (DCP; also Demokratische Mittenpartei or Plaid Ganol Ddemocrataidd) is a political center party in Aloria, hoping to make a difference. We support healthcare for everyone, a fair justice system and keeping Aloria a free country. Taxes shall be kept at a relativly high level to fund universial healthcare, since a healthy population is a well-contributing population. Euthanasia should be legal; everyone has the right to decide their own death. The right to strike and is important, but if the reasons for the strike is wrong, an employer should have the right to fire his/her workers. Such actions should be observed by an impartial body. A liberal and free market is important; except for a Central Bank the government involvement should be kept low. The age of retirement should be at a relatively early age since most people by the age of 67 or 69 can't perform their work in good way. Education is important, and every citizen should have the right to be educated for free, to create a good foundation for the future of this country. Farmers should still be able to receive funds to continue their work, since it could prove useful to have our own resources in case of a war, when importing might not be an option. Public transport should be promoted, as an environmentally friendly alternative. DCP does not consider the environment to be an alarming issue, but feels that there is no reason to make things worse. We do not believe in oppressing religion, and we feel everyone should have the right to have their own faith. However, religion should not be mixed with politics. |
