Description[?]:
Formed May 2842. We have not decided whether to follow Communism, or Artanian Socialism yet. We espouse the political philosophy first espoused by Kirlawan politician Mirjam Sterk, Artanian Socialism. We believe a union of the northern Artanian nations under the banner of Socialism would benefit the entire region, and bring related populations together rather than dividing them along crude national lines. We fully support a socialist economic structure, backed up by a strong military to secure our position in Terran affairs, and to protect our borders from the capitalist-fascist threat. The protection of the environment, the provision of universal free education and healthcare, help for the weak, and worker ownership of industry are all key policies that we hope to successfully espouse in Kirlawa. In foreign affairs we aim to work closely with Dorvik, Aloria and Dundorf to secure interregional co-operation, with the long term aim of unification of our four nations. However when it comes to social and religious policy we believe in allowing a degree of independence in order to reflect traditional values of individual communities. Although Artanian Socialism remains our key platform, the party is composed of various strains. Uwakahn environmentalists, Dundorfian nationalists, authoritarian militarists and a host of other smaller groups join us under our banner. |
