The FSD (Freedom, Security, Democracy) Party is an ostensibly centre-right party that believes in a strong national defence and though laws, but also a strong education and welfare system. The FSD party believes in the following core values: - Having a well equipped and trained military, capable of defending the nation and its interest abroad. - Having tough punishments for criminal offences, but using imprisonment as a form of rehabilitation as well as punishment. - Allowing citizens personal freedom, where that freedom will not harm the nation or those around them. - Guaranteeing every citizen a minimum quality of life through social programs, subsidized housing and welfare payments, as well as a government run employment service. - A balanced and sustainable budget, for every dollar of deficit, the government will create a dollar of surplus in future years. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
