The Independent Democratic Party (IDP) “Breaking barriers, Building a future” The Independent Democartic Party pride ourselves on being mavericks. Though we tend to side more with liberals we are not afraid to cross party lines to vote for what we believe to be best for our nation. Our main focus is on having a strong economy that is fair and just for all, investing in education and technology, and assuring our nation with a strong and modern military. Successfully Passed Legislation: Family Act of 4199 (Made prostitution illegal) Military Reform Act 64199 (Made military service voluntary) Child Protection Act (Changed adult age from 16 to 18) Infrastructure and Public Transport Reform (offered government paid transport for low-income families and made Private and public power stations that exist side-by-side.) Nutritional Information Act (Required food companies to not only label ingredients but to also label nutritional facts as well.) Foreign Policy Reform of 4201 (Changed our laws to provide foreign aid for disaster relief and allow refugees who are suffering from extreme situation to enter our nation and provide them with integration aid) Concealed Carry Permit Law (Requiring people to get a permit to carry a concealed weapon) Environmental Reform Act ER44201 (Changed our laws allowing companies to get logging rights, Changed the law to where only industries are required to recycle their garbage, and we also changed the law to require logging companies to plant two trees for every one that they cut down.) Budget proposal of January 4202 (raised the budget from 705,480,000,000 DRA to 739,315,000,000 DRA a 33,835,000,000 increase and still managed to have a budget surplus.) Fair Energy Act of 4202 (Regulated private companies on how much they can charge for energy services) Drug Addiction Laws (Changed the law to put stricter advertising laws against drug companies who's drugs may have addictive and dangerous properties.) Vaccination Law (Mandates that every child must receive vaccines without special treatment to religious and personal beliefs) Health Care Reform of 4204 (Regulated IVF and also changed the healthcare law to where we only pay health costs for low income families) Agricultural Fair Practices Act of 4204 (reduced regulations on farming families and also gave funding control over to the local governments.)
