Description[?]:
Beiteynu Beytenu (Beiteynu Our Home) is a nationalist political party in Beiteynu, founded by immigrants from the USSR (Union of Saridan Socialist Republics). The Party takes a conservative view on many social issues, however its economics is heavily influenced by 'Labor Zionism', specifically with regards to the kibbutzim movement. The Party leadership has stated that it is more than willing to raise taxes in order to allow heavy investment in Beiteynu. The Party leader, Avigdor Liberman, born in Saridan, also highlighted Pontesian claims to Tadraki as an important factor in the founding of Beiteynu Beytenu, as the party hopes to bring together settlers and orthodox Jews who have thus far remained outside of the nations two party system. The Party labels itself as militarist and is supportive of Beiteynu WMD's, as well as increasing its defence budget, and introducing military national service. With reference to the two main parties in Beiteynu Mr Liberman suggests that Beiteynu Beytenu would be willing to work with either of them in the future. |
