Description[?]:
The Egelion Democrats A union of patriots devoted to create a strong, proud and independent Egelion, free from governmental and foreign corruption. Our main goals: -The privatisation and therefore effectivisation of our health care system. -Strengthening of our military to protect our land and people from foreign aggressors. -Sanctification of Egelian culture, traditions and values. -Strengthening of our economy by relaxed legislation on our private employers. The party was formed in August 2844 by Simon Smith and the cousins Elmond and Harold Grey. With the help of several private companies and their members they gathered a large campaign budget to spread their politics all over Egelion. And in the 2847 elections they shocked the nation as they took 35% of the seats and became the largest party, interrupting the EPP's long winning streak. Even though Elmond Grey didn't win the Presidential election the party had now gathered a large ammount of power and influence within Egelion politics. A short lived coalaition between the ED and the SDLP ruled Egelion for the comming three years, after the next election the three big left-winged parties formed a government together, leaving the ED, still the largest party, in opposition. Over the following years the ED has been losing seats, mostly due to internal turmoil. After the devastating Communist coup in Caille, hundreds of ED members are missing or dead, forcing the others to set aside their differences and work together. Party Chairman: Simon Smith (2857- Former Chairmen: Harold Grey (2853-2857) Simon Smith (2844-2853) |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
