Description[?]:
On centralisation we believe in giving local powers, closer to the people. Such powers will keep the balance of unity of Lodamun and also allow local people to make local decisions. On civil rights, we are for its permissive use. But with every right comes responsibility and if you do not exercise that responsibility, you should be punished. On ecology, we believe whether or not global warming exists, it seems to be doing a great deal for the environment and for the advancement of new technology. On foreign relations, we are very much internationalist, as we believe there is more gain than being isolated. On government responsibility, we believe in smaller government as bureaucracy is reduced and government becomes more efficient. On markets, we believe that too much regulation can cause major economic issues and so we support capitalism, but certain industries could be regulated to prevent further issues. On the military we believe that you only need enough military to defend yourself. On morality, we are moderately progressive. We think society is becoming more accepting to new ideas, however religious institutions should not be forced to accept certain new ideas if they don’t want to. Finally on religion, we think religion should be a freedom within the confines of the law. |

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller |
