Description[?]:
A noble family, the Goodliffes of the southern Province of Adelia, claim to be the true royal family of the nation. Their ultimate aim is to return to power. There was a struggle, of which little was recorded between King Jack and his fathers sister Jane Goodliffe who had married Lord John Goodliffe, a very distant relative of Edward McDylas, the last of the first royal line. The couples line has continued through the centuries, living in exile during the period that saw the destruction of Hutori. As Jack was relatively young when he ascended the throne, Jane claimed that her and her husband should have been crowned instead, or at least their own son William who was older than Jack. The couple were imprisoned for treason, and executed some time later. The fact that Lord Goodliffe was the heir to the first line of kings, and Jane was of the second, William swore an oath that the Goodliffe line would be in power. Each of the Goodliffe children must swear the same oath when they come of age. As a result, the Goodliffe family has expanded, and continued through the ages. The family has established their own party in order to achieve their goal of ascending the throne. July 2518- The NRP gain 26 seats in their first election. The Goodliffe family call it the first of many successes. July 2522- The NRP wins the largest amount of seats! The Party does particularly well in their home province of Adelia. |
