Description[?]:
(Socialist World Republic Party) A revolutionary socialist party! In order for the world revolution to take place, it first must begin here! Vorsitzender der Revolution (Chairman of the Revolution): Karl Raskop Unter-Vorsitzender (Under-Chairman): Rudi Kurzmann Partei Kongress Geschäftsleiter ( Party Congress Leader): Theodor Lenz Öffentlichkeit Verhältnis Offizier (Public Relations Officer): Dieter Oelberg Veranstalter der Party (Party Manager) : Kolman D. Klein The SWP was officially founded in 3162 by a then 24 year old Karl Raskop, with the publishing of his Weltrepublik Manifesto. Although the SWP has existed in local form for several decades in many major cities, it was only in early 3193 that it gained national recognition. The SWP gained a large number of seats in the staat governments due to the rising popularity of Socialism in Dorik, and the party applied for national recognitionin October of 3193. After a few days of deliberation, the application was accepted. This was met by much fanfare, and the party quickly made the effort to switch its focus from regional elections to the national legislature. Excerpts from the Weltrepublik Manifesto, by Karl Raskop "...and it is another misconception that the socialist movement wishies to impose a totalitarian state. This is absurd in every notion. Socialism is, by nature, democratic. What else could it be? It was the oppressers who established the totalitarian states, not the proletariat. To be sure, there have been times when enterprising dictators have used the goodwill of the revolution to seize power for themselves and their cronies, but this should not be the case in a true, world revolution. It is said..." "...although there is certainly pride for patriotic sentiment. The true World Republic would not wipe away cultural identity, it would allow them to exist free of economic opression." "...Svenson would still be called Great, even if he was an autocrat. This is because his actions put in motion the events which would create our great Republic. I very much doubt socialism could have survived in a medieval world in any case. We are lucky to have had one as wise as he, in such dark times. This is in sharp contrast to the pretender monarchs of today. Despite his attempts to pander to the Communists, it is clear that Odacer is simply another oppresser looking for ways to exploit the populace. He refuses to accept the legitimate revolution, and is thus not a friend of the people. This is not to say he does not deserve respect; all he must do is abandon his noble titles and claims and become one of the people. Only then will he earn the respect of the people of Dorvik " More information: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Sozialistiche_Weltrepublik_Partei_(Socialist_World_Republic_Party) (Note: You may need to copy and paste the link) Party Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNK7biw9r5c |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
Random quote: "Public schools are government-established, politician- and bureaucrat-controlled, fully politicized, taxpayer-supported, authoritarian socialist institutions. In fact, the public-school system is one of the purest examples of socialism existing in America." - Thomas L. Johnson |
