Nation[?]: Tælmörksríki / Kingdom of Telamon (Telamon)
Seats[?] in Landsthingi (National Assembly)[?]: 0

Description[?]:
The Catholic Political Union (CPU) was founded in 3261 under the chairmanship of Leroy Adams by a group of Catholics concerned about the direction of Telamonese politics. The CPU is staunch in and unashamed of the Catholic principles it is founded on, and believes Catholic social teaching offers the best route for a more stable society. However, the CPU is not a narrow sectarian party; we court and welcome supporters from across the spectrum of Telamonese society. Although we have a close relationship with the Catholic Church, and especially the Telamon Catholic Bishops Conference (TCBC), we are an independent political party with a democratic internal constitution. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "The most certain test by which we judge whether a country is really free is the amount of security enjoyed by minorities." - John Dalberg-Acton |
