Description[?]:
Creation date: July 5134 Position on political spectrum - Left to Far-Left Ideology: Market Leftism, Libertarian Socialism, Progressivism Party Leadership: Collective, with leading representative being Liam L'zar Youth wing and student wings: Youth League for Popular Emancipation (YLE) Party structure: Formed of several smaller parties and some trade unions Party Platform and Description: Market Leftism is defined by Nathanaƫl Zuja as the belief in the ability of the markets to further growth for everyone under certain conditions, that growth it is desirable, it is necessary in a competitive inter-connected world and that material satissfaction is important, just as sustainable growth. The party focuses on establishing workplace democracy, local government freedom in planning and strong social programs to guarantee free access to utilities for the people, while regulating companies to push eco-friendly actions, protect workers and their communities from excess and furthering the protection of marginalized groups such as LGBT-Q+ community. Libertarian Socialism is defined here as the interchangeability and necessity of both liberty and equality, as they are one and the same value, we cannot progress further as a society of divided people and mass poverty, but we cannot either declare ourselves really equal if some have more power than others. It is only through equal and sustained progress both economically and socially that as society we can achieve self sufficiency and liberty. Government structures should be geared toward aiding the communities in their quest for self governship, not lock them in a loop of dependency. That is another reason why we are Republican in beliefs. Socialized markets, it is not just an idea, it is a proper well thought plan that people should no longer be at the whims of the market forces when it comes to food, water, housing and so on, all basic goods such as electricity, gas and heat shall be no longer seen as commodities, but rather as needs, needs that cannot be left to the markets to decide if affordable or not, but rather see a shift toward worker cooperatives funded by the local state to offer free food for example for working men and women of Likatonia. It is also possible that profit can be turned, which will greatly increase the autonomy of said cooperatives. As Libertarians, we believe in independence of our people, and thus, we believe market forces have a genuine great impact if well regulated and guided toward the right direction. When comes to luxury needs and goods that are not necessarily needed, such as a TV, phone, Internet, other gadgets, fine clothing or anything fancy in general, as long as it does noit damage the environment too much, will be better administrated by the local market forces than the government, thus allowing fair competition to undergo where credits are due. Progressivism is our last core belief, a belief in an active participating civil society in politics, the protection of liberties through ensuring minority rights, women rights and an end to discrimination at the workplace and in social situations through fair anti-discrimination laws, positive temporary action for equity and limit of hate speech expression. Lastly, the party proposes radical fiscal reform, abolishing most of taxes in favor of sales taxes, property taxes and import tariffs. The economic model proposed is similar to anarchist model in Lodamun and the Double Currency in New Alduria. This model has been product of many reiterations and struggles to defined a new way of practicing socialism, a way of the markes. It is impossible to sustain benefits for people without growth and market stability, thus the birth of a third-way socialism. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
