Description[?]:
We are a confederate party -- that is, we believe in that all powers of government should be devolved to the states, except for those necessary for the protection of all. Our party is neither liberal nor conservative, though our regional counterparts may trend leftward. We are furthermore an anti-war party, specifically with regards to the one which our government is conducting in Alduria. Our opposition to this war is based on three principles: first, we do not believe that it is our duty to determine who the people of Alduria wish to have as their leader; second, we are anti-monarchists -- a monarchy is the ultimate centralization of government, or at least representative of that ideal; third, because we are fundamentally opposed to the Axis and its insistence on intervening in the affairs of other nations. It is also important to note that the Movement has a strong strand of Talasorian secessionism in it. |
