Details
Nation[?]: Empire of Ananto and Kalistan (Kalistan)
Seats[?] in National Assembly of Deputies[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
La Libertad was formed as an alliance of merchants and citizens' groups to protest the creeping influence of centralized big government. Claiming to speak for Kalistan's "Silent majority" against the interests of bloated bureaucrats, ex-revolutionaries, monarchists, unitarists, and elites of all stripes, La Libertad is fundamentally populist and pledges to return Kalistan's government to its rightful inheritors - the average man and woman. The party, above all, wants to devolve powers to local government, and seeks to abolish the monarchy, lower taxes, and withdraw from foreign commitments. Privatization is supported unless the government can better represent the average citizen's needs (and even then, local government is preferred.) The party, finally, alleges massive corruption at all levels in the federal government and in big corporations, pledging to deprive that unholy alliance of its grip on power by promoting devolution to the departments and a bloodless purge of tainted government officials. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
