Details

User[?]: A Socialist

Nation[?]: Voronan Federation (Vorona)

Seats[?] in Federal Parliament[?]: 0

Color[?]:

Description[?]:

We are a socially moderate, economically socialist resistance movement against the unjust monarchy of Vorona. A monarchy that has oppressed the common man far too long! Down with the Duke! Down with the Nobles! Up with the people, who make their splendour possible!

Here are some of our demands:

- A severe reduction in the rights of noblemen, in the hopes that one day we will have a society based purely on merit and equal chance

- More funding for public healthcare and education, and banning of private alternatives, again to ensure equality

- Reducing the influence of religion in Vorona, by banning religious schools, advertising, and increasing taxes on them, in the eventual hope we will build an atheist society.

- Legalizing same-sex marriage and abortion, and according homsexuals the exact same rights as heterosexuals.

- A centralization of government activity, and an end to feudal federalism

- An expansion of our army in order to protect Vorona

- A full republican system of government, with a figurehead president and with power vested in the prime minister

- Turning Vorona into a full parliamentary democracy, by making government appointments neutral and allowing all parties, not just the monarch, to consult and decide in the government of the nation.

- Loosening environmental restrictions, merely another way for nobles to oppress the commoners.

- Ending Vorona's longstanding isolation, and getting us some clout on the world stage.

Centralization: We believe in a strong central government to serve the people, and will oppose any attempts at feudal federalism. Only a strong central government can do the people's work.

Civil RIghts: A balanced approach between mantaining order and liberty is required. Government must never veer too far in either direction, otherwise, an important part of policy will be sacrificed.

Ecology: Global warming is a lie, there has been no conclusive evidence suggesting that CO2 causes a rise in global temperatures. Environmental restrictions are just another way for the noblemen to keep the common man down and away from success.

Foreign Relations: Vorona must end its isolation and become far more involved on the world stage. We can be a great nation, if we so will it.

Government Responsibilities: We must have a large government in order to protect the people from oppression, insecurity, and other evils. A small government is powerless to help its people or solve their problems, a big government would have the power to improve and lead society.

Market: Full nationalization of all industries. Full socialism, period.

Military: Expand the army and its rights to protect Vorona and expand our influence.

Morality: A balanced approach that allows people some liberties, but at the same time protects and stops Vorona from becoming a place of uncontrolled sin. Once again, a balanced approach is required.

Relgion: Down with the priests who have made the oppression possible! Religion is a way to brainwash the people to accept poor living standards and intrusions in their rights. Only full atheism can free the minds of the people so they can participate properly in a democracy.
