Description[?]:
Founder: Jaden Pontassy Dictatorship can be Democratic! The weakness of government is the existence of a lower house of government. Far too many opposing ideas and opinions are presented here, and quelled here due to the continuous bickering that elected representative thrive on. The Alliance of Democratic Dictators stands for swift parliamentary action in deciding the nations course. This is achieved by dissolving the lower house of government and instating a sole person responsible for guiding the country. The Democratic Dictatorship is heavily regulated by the constitution and the upper house of government. But the general outline would be as such: 1. The people of Cobura vote for a Dictator. This Dictator is sworn in for a strictly guarded term. At the end of which en election process is held. 2. the division of power is finite in that the Dictator has no direct control over the national police force or the military. Any action required of these two institutions must be approved by the upper house. the Dictator may propose constitutional changes but they are solely approved by the upper house. 3. the Dictator has complete control over the Nation's internal and international affairs. Policy is set and implemented by the dictator. the Dictator may appoint a cabinet, to assist him in his control of the nation. 4. the upper house consists of democratically elected officials. The function of the upper house is to guard the constitution, approve National or international military action, and to act in the bests interests of the Coburan People. 5. The upper House has no authority to enact action whether internal or external. The UH may propose legislation, but its approval rests with solely with the Dictator. This is what the ADD stand for. This is what we will pursue; and this is what will Strengthen our great nation of Cobura |
