Nation[?]: Yekobura Fēdērēshini (Cobura)
Seats[?] in Yefēdērali Konigiresi (Federal Congress)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
Our first priority is do balance the budget, which has gotten out of control under the current administration, and hopefully begin running a surplus to pay down Cobura's debt. We plan to do this by lowering spending on items such as defense. We believe that we should maintain our current military to adequately defend Cobura while maintaining a significant advantage through diplomatic and military networks with foreign nations by investing in our foreign affairs. All the while maintaining nuclear weapons as a deterrent to any attack on Coburan soil. We also intend on working to lower corporate taxes to create employment and raise the salaries of Coburans. Meanwhile, we hope to eliminate taxes on essential items, while raising them on luxury items as well as raising taxes for Cobura's wealthiest citizens by a limited amount. Furthermore, we believe Cobura should use its military funds to fund the Ministries of Trade & Commerce, Education, Science & Technology, Internal Affairs, etc. In order to bolster Cobura's economic might. While at the same time having an economy which can support state of the art defense systems which would cost the nation less in the long run in regards to the monetary costs associated with troops as well as the costs of the loss of life. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
