Description[?]:

The Libertarian Alliance of Cats was founded in 3178 following a period of anarchy in Barmenia. For decades it was the nation's only political party.

While battling a shortlived wave of Bear-worshiping immigrants it became the Liberal Alliance of Cats. This era ended when GALT FREYJA II arrived from parts unknown and cast the Bears into the sea in 3366. Despite losing the parliamentary election to the Bear-worshipers, GALT II won the Felis Supremis election, which was an unheard of result and led the the political class finally feeling enabled to take action against the Bears.

Then it became the Isolationist Alliance of Cats when public sentiment turned against the outside world. GALT FREYJA III felt that the world had fallen into a slow state of disarray and that the Barmenian empire was better off isolating itself from them. GALT III's management of the party lasted until the Crimson Crusade routed them in the 3388 elections and the Crusaders established a nominal monarchy. This led to III's retirement from politics, and GALT FREYJA IV stepping into politics while still at a young age - approximately 100 years ahead of schedule.

The Isolationist period lasted until Turkalian immigrants began the Black Panther crisis, which caused the Alliance to merge with the semi-monarchist Crimson Crusade in 3405. (And thus adopted a red color scheme.) As the Crimson-Yellow Crusader Alliance of Cats, they ran CC member Xeron Phokas for the Felis Supremis (Potentate) position. The armed Black Panther militias proved better at their GOTV efforts and the election effort for Xeron Phokas proved to be in vain. After the Panther coalition established the Black Monarchy, they did away with HoS elections. In reaction the Crimson-Yellow Alliance coalition solidified further, transitioning into a Left Libertarian Alliance of Cats. This new branding was intended to provide a big tent for freedom lovers and unionists while seeming to be a more stable party then the Crimson-Yellow Alliance was.

It is made up of a coalition of interest groups, businesses, and caucuses such as:
Barmenian International Relations Institute (BIRI) - CEO: Alisa Chordatova (3176-3287)
Barmenian Historical Society (BHS) (Roots date back to 2000) - CEO: Parvati Isis (3178-3287)
Ikegaru Development League (IDL) - CEO: Felix "Big" Bear (3253-3287), Garfield "Little" Bear (3287-present)
Feline News Service (FNS) - CEO: Santos Lions (3235-3287), Randy Lions (3287-present)
Ryder and Ryder Law Firm (Formed in 3134) - Senior Partner: Curt Ryder (3231-3307), Hawkins Ryder (3307-present)

And many, many cats.

Its government team consists of:
Felis Supremis: GALT FREYJA (3178-3203), Alisa Chordatova (3203-3231), Curt Ryder (3231), Santos Lions (3231-3257), Felix "Big" Bear (3257-3287), Persian Lokasenna (3287-present)

All of the early government officials (3178-3287) and Felis Supremis candidates from GALT FREYJA through Felix "Big" Bear (Other than Curt Ryder, the only unsuccessful Felis Supremis candidate in LAoC history) disappeared during the mysterious 3287 mission to colonize the Uncivilized Regions of Terra.
