NEW LIBERAL PARTY The Liberal Party is a social liberal political party in the Commonwealth of Hutori, supporting constitutional and electoral reform, progressive taxation, environmentalism, human rights laws, banking reform and civil liberties. Founded from the old Christian People's Alliance, the Liberal Party have had good success in previous elections, when they were contesting as the Whigs, or former Liberals, they even had the largest amount of seats in the legislature at one point and even held the office of Head of Government and Head of State. The motto and mission statement of the Liberal Party is below; "The Liberals currently exist to build and safegaurd a fair, free and open society in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community, and in which no one will be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity" |
