Formed in the summer of 4134 as the Renewal Party of Kanjor, the Democratic People's Party aims to reform and modernize the nation. It was founded by prominent economics professor Denise Sergeant, as well as renowned liberal profile and entreprenaur Philippe Moreau. Various celebrities and prominent Kanjorian profiles declared their support of the party, and some joined as members. The party is a liberal party, with a significant liberal-conservative as well as libertarian faction, seeking to maintain centrist social/civil rights policies as well as creating a stable economy based on center-right wing principles such as minimal state involvement, free market policies, lower taxes and reduced government spending.
