Nation[?]: Principatus Selucianus (Selucia)
Seats[?] in Senātus Populī[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
The Blue Sky Party is very left wing socially and somewhat left wing economically. -Centralization: Centralization doesnt matter much to us. In bills which pit Unitarianism against Federalism, well vote for whichever option gives more freedom to the idividual or protects the environment more. -Civil Rights: We feel that the rights of the individual trump the rights of the state. So we will vote in favor of bills which improve civil rights, especially when it comes to free speech. -Ecology: The Blue Sky Party feels that it is important to protect the environment, so that we and our children can enjoy the beauty of nature. We will support any bill that increases protection of the environment and animal rights. -Foreign Relations: We recognize that foreigners are human beings and have worth, too. We support the rights of immigrants and refugees, and will vote in favor of bills that increase foreign aid. -Government Responsibilities: While we feel that fewer laws are better than more, we recognize that the government must sometimes step in to help. We will vote for any bill that helps those in need, but oppose any bill that needlessly intrudes in peoples lives. -Market: We are certainly not socialists; however, we do feel that the government should ensure that businesses do nothing to harm the environment or their employees. We will support any bill that ensures proper regulation in these areas, but oppose any bill that creates unnecessary government control of industry. -Military: We feel that warfare should be used only as an extreme last resort, and that when it is done it should be done humanely. We support restrictions on the government's right to use nuclear weapons, and the complete outlawing of chemical and biological weapons. -Morality: Since so many people, religions, and philosophies have different ideas of what is moral and what is not, we feel that morality should not be decided by the government. We support legal drugs, legal prostitution, relaxed nudity laws, etc. -Religion: What the Blue Sky Party wants is complete government neutrality towards religion. This means we support separation of church and state, but oppose needless restriction on religions. |

Random fact: Don't vote yes on a cabinet coalition that doesn't give you the power that you deserve. |
Random quote: "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Martin Luther King Jr. |
