Description[?]:
The Coalition for Change, formerly the Liberal Reformist Party, is newly elected Governor-General Sylvaine Linville’s attempt to make an all encompassing coalition to ensure political dominance over Mordusia. Already it’s splitting into ideological camps, and it’s remaining to be seen whether or not it can hold itself together. Ideology: Big Tent, Pragmatism Front Bench: Head: Sylvaine Linville (United Mordusia) Deputy: Ally Fitzhugh (New Liberals) Main Groups within the Coalition: Conservative Guard Ideology: Conservatism, Kodonomics Head: Will Vesten Bio: The Conservative Guard is the right wing of the coalition, and the most aggressive. Fighting for small government, and non-intervention in economics, it is mostly consisting of former Progress Party members and the occasional National Movement Ideologue. United Mordusia Ideology: Pragmatism, Centrism Head: Sylvaine Linville Bio: The Centrist and most powerful portion of the Coalition, it is headed by Sylvaine Linville, who keeps the Coalition together by sheer force of will and extreme popularity. It is remained to be seen how long it can keep itself in power, especially after Linville Steps down. New Liberals Ideology: Conservative Liberalsim Head (s): Ally and Michael Fitzhugh Bio: Headed by the Fitzhugh siblings, the New Liberals compromise most of the old LRP, and are the most loyal supporters of Linvilles new order. They stand a good chance of becoming the head of the party after Linville’s departure, especially considering Ally Fitzhugh’s influence in the party as a whole. Smaller Groups within the Coalition: Republican Vangaurd Ideology: Republicanism, Anti-Monarchism Head: Mark Eversoll Bio: one of two extremist factions in the Coalition, the Vanguard seeks the complete seperation of Mordusia and the Luthori Monarchy. They remain on the fringe, as their views aren’t exactly popular. United Nation: Ideology: Nationalism, One Nation Conservatism Head: William Ridge Bio: The more extreme members of the Republican Guard have mobilized under William Ridges, and favor a very active participation of Mordusia in world affairs. Many former NM members have found a home here, but they still remain on the fringe. |
