Description[?]:
A rather left-of-centre Hosian party, founded in 5003 amidst rural discontent with the secular, urban-based Progressive government. The party does not originate in the mainstream Hosian democratic tradition; rather, it should be seen in the distinctly Saridani tradition of the Hosian socialists and agrarian radicals of centuries past, taking inspiration from the Tasselist Farmers Union, League of Hosian Socialists, and Army of Free Farmers. More than that, however, the party sees itself in the very footsteps of van Tassel himself. The HSP sees, like van Tassel, ethnic and racial discrimination as fundamentally antithetical to the brotherhood of the elect that is Saridan; the party is keen to move beyond antiquated notions of strictly-delinated Duntrekkers, Iftgoerroon, and Ikpi and recognise that there were very few young, unmarried women amongst van Tassel's followers. Political scientists have used terms such as "Hosian left", "liberation theology", and "left-wing populism" to describe the HSP. The party is, however, more pragmatic and moderate in practice than its fierce rhetoric and theocratic Metzist ancestral influences might suggest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI0CF095mIs Volksraad |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
Random quote: "I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church." - Thomas Paine |
