Description[?]:
The Octobrist Party is the political element of the defunct Black October movement, a monarchist militia that conducted terrorist attacks against the regime of Wilson Simmons and his allies. Black October took its name from the month during which the monarchy of the Christian Duchy of Keymon was disbanded, and fought a thirteen-year campaign to topple Simmons and return Bryce Leigh's son to the throne. After seizing Laddon and then Penrod, Black October fought an open war against the Duchy's People's Army and defeated them, seizing Keymon City in 2338. Paiz Donnad, leader of Black October, renounced violence, formed the Octobrist Party, and began trying to rebuild Keymon. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
