Description[?]:
"We believe in the ultimate triumph of divine mercy and grace: that no being ever created will be condemned or allowed to suffer forever, but God has arranged through a benevolent plan of learning and growth for all souls to attain salvation, reconciliation, restoration, and reunion with the Source of All Being, in the fullness of the ages." (see http://www.christianuniversalist.org/beliefs.html). The Christian Universalist Party was set up in August 2431 in order to represent the millions of Indralans who want a progressive and tolerant politics, rooted in the finest Christian traditions. The CUP believes in working to build a society which is more responsible, more respectful and more caring, where every person - whoever they are - is valued. Politically we favour freedom of speech, a responsible attitude towards the environment and working to reduce social inequality. We support the free market, but believe it must be made to work in the interests of humanity, not against them. On international issues, we seek greater co-operation and harmony between all nations, and we are opposed to the stockpiling of weapons of mass destruction. |
