| I stand for a two simple concepts. That it is the responsibility of the strong to protect the weak. "Might for right, not might is right" as they said in Camelot. I seek to protect the people from all who would abuse or enslave them. Top of my list is unregulated corporations. We have seen the kind of horrors that were caused by unrestrained economics in the united states and parts of Europe in the late 1800s, and the misery they caused. The 1980s in the United States was know as the "greed" decade or sometimes the "me" decade. During that time a CEO at a company made on average 40 times what the workers made. Now when that time of rampant greed is thought to be over the average CEO makes 400 times what the workers make. I am against the misuse and abuse of wealth. and rampant greed sickens me. The second principal I stand for is that government can be a force for good. That we can change peoples lives for the better. And I will flesh this part out later, I have things I need to do. |
