The Liberal Party of Rutania is a party committed to classical liberalism that entertains the ideas of limited government, maximised individual responsibility and individual liberties. Specifically, we believe in; - The protection of constitutionally guaranteed rights of the individual and the value of the contribution to society. - The Right of the Individual to be independent, to own property, to pursue their own course to happiness. - The Right for all People to act freely without fear from Government Retribution. - The Encouragement of the Individual to accept their own responsibility and take initiative in civic life. - The Idea that all Rutanians should have equality in all opportunities. - A Fair and Tolerant Society. - The creation of wealth through unregulated, competitive enterprise. And in 2549, the name of the party was changed to conform to Rutanian standards. In 2584, the LPR underwent further change and adopted the name "Liberal Conservative Party of Rutania" to reflect its true values. |
