Description[?]:
The KLA is a socially liberal, but economically conservative party with it's members harking back to the days before the republic. It's fervent support base is based around the old guard of the aristocracy, and a limited number of intelligentsia, artists and some of the more eccentric entrepeneurs. At first sighting, it might appear that the party had leapt straight out of the middle ages, without a single idea of modesty or respectable public behaviours. Party gatherings take form as lavish balls, improptune public performances and nonsensical demonstrations against irrelevant issues of days yonder. For these reasons, and for the outlandish costs and drunken riots which always results, the party is often looked down upon by the common voter, with whom they are completely out of touch with. When accosted by reporters and suggested that he should pay more attention to the woes of the working families, such as public transport, retiring party leader Valentine Diego shouted, red faced and smelling of wine: "Honestly I don't see what the fuss is! If these proles are so concerned about their filthy big yellow pleb mobiles, then they could always apply as my esquire and peruse a horse! At least I'd have them dress well, unlike some common Swahili quack from the jungles of darkest borneo! And heaven knows the average user could lose a bit of weigth from equestrian pursuits....my god people these days are getting all the more fat and unsightly" |
