Description[?]:
"The wealth required by nature is limited and is easy to procure; but the wealth required by vain ideals extends to infinity." --- Teachings of Syro Syro the Elder (2441-2537) was searching for the path to true happiness. He concluded that this could be achieved only by renouncing the gods and fear of death, and by believing good things are easily obtained and bad things easily endured. He called this the "Four-Paths". If someone walks one of the paths, he is on his way to happiness, but only by walking all four of them is happiness truly obtained. His teachings were written down by his grandson, Syro the Younger (2561-present). Syroism, as it was called by then, received many followers, who began to live in what they called "Gardens". Many renounced city life, retired and tried to help to sustain a small commune. The party that defends Syroic teaching, which stands for a traditional Kalopian way of life, is called the "Garden of Happiness". It does not try to become "the biggest" or "the most popular", as Syro proscribed that wealth and fame is an unnecessary burden. However, it does try to safeguard the Gardens and its followers. SPOKESMAN: Syro the Younger (2594-present) ELDERS: Joas Mioul, Lasma Aenurguina, Paolin Vaeturvete, Luoin Aesanmis, Miaste Aenurgunas, Olon Gesvete, Vuas Lahamirdune, Selke Mioul, Frygun Mioul, Coraleis Janurvete, Veisanamy Hulgarovete, Joas Lahavete, Coraleis Lahavete |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag |
