Dankuk - Kafuristan Treaty of Friendship and Trade Agreement

The Provisional State of Dankuk, the successor states thereof, and Jamahiriat al-Qalb, and the successor states thereof, voluntarily enter into this treaty concerning friendship and trade. This treaty is for the purpose of strengthening economic relations between the two signatory parties. ARTICLE I - RELATIONS There shall be a regular exchange of ambassadors and staff between the parties hereto. Embassies will be established according to respective host country laws and provisions including diplomatic immunity; in addition, local Consulates will be established where desirable. ARTICLE II - FREE TRADE There shall be free and unhindered trade between the nations of the Provisional State of Dankuk and Jamahiriat al-Qalb. The governments of neither nation shall attempt to establish tariffs, quotas, or taxes on any imports or exports that flow between them, except in extraordinary circumstances and with the express consent of both parties. By default, this article covers all economic activity, including goods, services, and labor specifically including but not limited to agricultural products, household appliances, pharmaceutical and other medical products, electronic equipment and commercial air flights. The national governments of the parties hereto may choose to exclude particular industries in order to protect their economic position but this should only be done after notifying the partner government and with good reason. No such industries have been identified at the time of ratification. ARTICLE III - NON-AGGRESSION The Provisional State of Dankuk and Jamahiriat al-Qalb agree that the currently existing territorial boundaries of each are legitimate and accurate and will respect them as such. Further, both states pledge non aggression toward each other. ARTICLE IV Should either party decide to withdraw from this treaty, six months' notice shall be given by the withdrawing party. All transactions, whether concerning purchases of goods or services or investing in business operations completed prior to such notice, shall be considered valid and continue in effect. |
