Dundorf - Aldegar Trade, Culture and Friendship Treaty

Introduction: The undersigned representatives of the Bundesrepublik Dundorf (Federal Republic of Dundorf), and its legal successors, and the Federacijam Xalkii Ozodi Aldegor (Aldegarian People's Free Federation), and its legal successors, hereby respectively referred as "Dundorf" and "Aldegar", agree on the following treaty, authorized by both Governments, to enshrine a partnership accord between Dundorf and Aldegar. Article I - Diplomacy 1.01 - Dundorf and Aldegar recognizes each other as independent and sovereign nations, and forego any armed conflict to resolve disputes. For this reason Dundorf and Aldegar agree on maintaining an active diplomacy between themselves. 1.02 - There shall be a regular exchange of ambassadors and staff between Dundorf and Aldegar. Embassies will be established according to respective host country laws and provisions including diplomatic immunity; in addition, regional Consulates will be established where desirable. 1.03. - Dundorf and Aldegar agree to extradite citizens without prejudice, unless a death penalty is issued and/or is allowed as a punishment. Article II - Declaration of Friendship 2.01 - Dundorf and Aldegar recognize each other as friends, and as such the signatory nations recognize that regular communication is important to build trust and friendship. To this end, both governments agree to consult regularly and open clear channels of communication for exchange of information. Article III - Trade, Economic Activities and Commerce 3.01 - Dundorf and Aldegar agree on working together in enabling and supporting trade, commerce and economic partnerships in the public and private sector. 3.02 - There shall be minimum quotas or taxes levied on products and goods that flow among each nation. 3.03 - This article covers all economic activity, including goods, services, and labour specifically including but not limited to agricultural products, household appliances, financial services, automobile, pharmaceutical and other medical products, electronic equipment and commercial air flights. 3.04 - The national governments of either party signatory may choose to exclude particular industries in order to protect their economic position but this should only be done after notifying the partner government and with good reason. No such industries have been identified at the time of ratification. 3.05 - Both governments agree avoid imposing double taxation on common transactions. Article IV - Culture, Education and Travel 4.01 - Dundorf and Aldegar agree to promote cultural initiatives in both countries, understanding that culture is an important way to promote harmony and pursue positive diplomacy. 4.02 - Dundorf and Aldegar agree to work towards joint school and academic grants, scholarships and research and development programs. 4.03 - Dundorf and Aldegar agree to allow their citizens travel freely between the nations without the need of an international passports, and to impose cursory ID checks only. 4.04 - Dundorf and Aldegar agree to release 90-days visas, work visas and student visas. Article V - Withdrawal 5.01 - Should either party decide to withdraw from this treaty, 6 months notice shall be given by the withdrawing party. All transactions whether concerning purchases of goods or services or investing in business operations completed prior to such notice shall be considered valid and continue in effect. |
