Message | This is meant to fully implement the SWU's new proposal on Cabinet selection, which we support. The Chancellor should be the Head of Government and accountable to a majority of the Congress. The Head of State should be separate. We welcome feedback and hope to gain all parties' support. |

Message | Perhaps we could have a 'straw poll' of sorts? How many parties would like the name Chancellor for Head of Government, and how many Prime Minister? For that matter, is there agreement on President for the (largely ceremonial) Head of State? We aren't opposed to changing this bill around to an extent as it is unlikely to pass by the next elections in any case. |
Date | 03:51:31, February 12, 2007 CET | From | New Democratic Party | To | Debating the Parliamentary Coalition Act of 2358 |
Message | Well, I like the current names. President+PM is just too common I think. |
Date | 19:23:12, February 12, 2007 CET | From | Iqembu Sokusebenzisana Yeningi | To | Debating the Parliamentary Coalition Act of 2358 |
Message | Since the Constitutional change this was based on has failed, we will be withdrawing it from consideration unless the NCP, AP, or INSP is interested in making the change to a parliamentary system. |

Date | 08:42:13, February 15, 2007 CET | From | Iqembu Sokusebenzisana Yeningi | To | Debating the Parliamentary Coalition Act of 2358 |
Message | We plan to bring this to vote so that passage would coincide with the next elections, so as to minimize charges that it is politically motivated. Does Chancellor + Prime Minister work for everyone? |
Date | 20:36:59, February 15, 2007 CET | From | Ikradone Nationalsozialistische Partei | To | Debating the Parliamentary Coalition Act of 2358 |
Message | We will support the bill as it stands. The title of 'Premier' has a deep stigma carrying with it the stench of communism, and would much prefer the more generic title of "Prime Minister." |
Date | 22:00:13, February 15, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Party of Ikradon | To | Debating the Parliamentary Coalition Act of 2358 |
Message | We support Chancellor and Prime Minister as titles. We shall support. |

Message | Seems we missed our self-imposed deadline on this. Apologies. FIND will be bringing this to vote following the next elections, regardless of the result. |
