Bill: Pets act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Workers Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2360

Description[?]:

We feel that all pets should be registered with the local governments, it will help both the general public and owners for the following reasons.

Lost pets can be traced back to owners
Stray animals can be picked up and if the stray was abandoned (ie not reported) then the local government can take action against the owners
Because the animals are registered they can be traced back to the owners if the pets attack other animals or people, it can also help doctors with finding out if the animal has any diseases.

We feel that registration is common sense.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.
