Bill: Animal testing bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Workers Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2360

Description[?]:

We feel that animals shoud not be used to test any drugs, most drugs and chemicals have been tested already and the vaste majority of tests do not show any benifits towards humans, in fact clinical trials of new drugs have normally thrown up problems which were not caught in animal testing. We feel that clinical trials and tests are a better way to test new drugs, we have the computing power and the science to test the vast majority of chemicals and drugs without harming animals.
