Message | This seems to be acceptable, if slightly too low. Either way, it's an improvement. |

Message | We can agree, the previous system was indeed too extreme. |

Message | We would. Let the changes go slow. We will support in a couple of years. |

Message | Alright, we'll keep it at 3%. We still want an explanation from the IR. |

Message | You asked if we would be uncomfortable with 5%, and we said we would not. We would *not* be *uncomfortable*. Just as the SD answered that they would, the opposite of our response. They WOULD be uncomfortable. |

Message | The TCP can only support this bill as a substitute for high income tax and corporation tax - in other words, if the PM was planning to propose this bill in conjunction with a bill decreasing corporation or income tax, replacing these forms of tax with a sales tax which is far more reasonable, then the TCP can support this bill. - sales tax involves far less tedious and unnessicary beuraucracy and doesn't take directly from the money of an individual, and is therefore somewhat more fair. If, however, this bill is going to be irrespective of any decrease in other tax, such as income or corporation, the TCP would be less inclined to support this bill. The TCP is sure that both the Independant Right and the PM would agree that what this nation needs is less government spending and government debt - not more tax to make up for more government spending and debt. Thus, instead of raising taxes, the TCP suggests cutting back on government spending in several unnessicary areas. All of that having been said, the TCP will abstain from this bill, because the party is still undecided, as we are not fully informed as to the intentions of the PM in this bill, but also in the knowledge that it will not make a difference to the bill being passed per se. |

Message | The PM intended for this bill to replace any income lost in the Corporate Worldwide Competition Act. Since that act has been shot down by the flip-flopping SD party who we are currently not very happy with due to that truth, we encourage the TCP to now vote against this bill. We ourselves will keep our vote for it in order to not embarrass ourselves in front of the public by voting against our own bill. In the future, we shall plan to have greater foresight to avoid such occurrences from happening. In the meantime, we would like to inform the SD that promising support for a bill and then refusing to give it once the bill nearly comes to fruition is not a good way to maintain good relations with the your fellow political parties, especially the one that proposed the bill. |

Message | In light of the PM's situation, the TCP will be happy to oblige, and vote down this bill. |
