Message | Hemp is a type of cannabis used for practical purposes, mostly using the fibres. In Romania, for example, traditional peasant clothing was made from hemp and it wasn't until the 20th Century that anybody had any idea that it was smokeable. During WWII, the US Army used hemp to make cords for parachutes. There was even a war film encouraging farmers to make it called "Hemp for Victory". |

Message | Hmmmm, leaning towards voting yes at the moment, but not sure. I'm not sure exactly what industrial hemp will entail. What else will it be used for (apart from parachutes and peasant clothing) if it's legalised? |

Message | It's legal anway! But hemp is a really useful substance. An acre of hemp over twenty years produces over four times the amount of pulp for paper than an acre of trees - the same amout of pulp produces more paper than wood. |

Message | This would be bringing useless regulations on industrial hemp. |
