| This is the first in the series of bills designed to repair teh damage of that the Nanny-State of Beluzia has inflicted on its electorate in the past. Prostitution is a crime already (on a technicality) however, the PAL believes it is only right and proper that it becomes illegal in written law. It is an abomination against God, a attack on the population of Beluzia and an insult to prostitutes. |

| Message | We are not at all certain that prostitution is a "crime against God" as the bill claims. Jesus Himself was good friends with prostitutes. On the other hand, there is the issue of poverty focring low-income women into prostitution against their will. With two of our provinces (Iker Ado adn Parlos Denina) having unemployment rates among the world's highest, this is not a minor concern. We shall ponder this matter in a party council. |

| Message | Jesus was friends with "tax collectors" and "prostitutes" and other "sinners" - he saw their sin but loved them none the less. We intend to follow this biblical example because we got the bill "Prostitution Rehabilitation Act" passed which means that they are treated not as criminals but as victims and are encouraged to come away from prostitution, not thrown in prison. Should this bill pass it will revert the criminal status of prostitution to what it was previously so that we do not punish prostitutes but help hem. |
