Message | Subcreature of the DPG, this indeed makes your position clear. And while we are appaled there are some of the articles we are inclined to be suportive in thought, but not in principle. |

Message | And you call yourselves politicians? If you dont support such basic legislation on the populace, what's the point in even having a government? |

Message | Clearly, we must oppress the Proles only a small bit...inching our way to True Freedom. You can't just blindly thrust yourself into the final stages of evolution so suddenly. |

Message | Perhaps we can discuss the above proposals and come to some sort of agreement where they might be implemented. |

Message | We will never accept article 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7,9, 10, As for the remaining articles. 3, 8, 11 . 3 we can accept in extreme cases of crisis, but this is already a fact as the government defines what is Vital.. We are against hte trade unions, but they are strong in this country and the fact of the matter is that it makes the working man more willing to accept our demands on them without making to much a fuss if they have this shadow of influence. 11 Yet again, trade unions are strong and to remove them at this speed would cause a civil war. |

Message | @3: All government work is vital, when compared to non-government work. Sadly, our antiquated justice system sometimes fails to realize this and must be properly circumvented. @8: We have found that allowing large groups of slaves to organize and make petty demands tends to increase the efforts required to pacify the occasionally revolts. This false sense of hope you prefer to give them, while amusing to observe, is simply not cost-effective. Proper oppression is difficult to apply when the populace believes the situation to be otherwise. @11: It may be said that the DOG enjoys strikes. But the inevitable massacres that strikes end up requiring are, again, not a very good way to keep the workforce producing. Yes, they may be amusing to conduct, even enjoyable. But we find it excessively cruel to tell the underlings that something is permitted then to turn around and execute them for it. An interesting diversion, perhaps, but that doesnt make it a wise decision. |

Message | @3. If the government choose to define all government work is vital, which is our right to do. Then we have your article idea nr 3 already in action without having to change hte law. @8. Every theorists says that a happy content worker is more efficient then a non-happy forced labour. Your argument here does not work. @11. We do not massacre strikers, we have otehr means to controll the strikes. We make sure that good, sound, people are the leaders of the Unions, and that makes strikes almost a thing of the past. The occasional strikes that do arise are easily solved through the union leaders most co-operative nature. |

Message | @3: This is how the government shall define all work as vital. Through article 3. @8: They will be happy content workers, because the alternative is much worse. For them, that is. @11: Again, this is an example of this nation's lack of proper governance that must be corrected. Should I remove articles 3, 8 and 11, would I have your support on any of above articles? |
Date | 18:02:42, May 24, 2007 CET | From | Social Conservative Party | To | Debating the Give up your stuff and get to work. Slaves. |
Message | There needs to be no change in article 3. Period. If we are to follow your thought and pretend it is good, the security costs alone makes it not cost-effective. The people will not accept such a rapid change. (OOC: You cant make a revolution neither party wil accept that, but if you either remove articles here, or make a new one i would be willing to support Article 11. There is a "good" logic behind that which i can use, and that i only do cause i think you deserve a chance here and atleast get a bill through :)) |

Message | SCP, you oppose most of the bill. And also 3. And also 8 then? So...split off the ones regarding oppression of the trade unions? And split off article 11? |
Date | 07:46:54, May 25, 2007 CET | From | Social Conservative Party | To | Debating the Give up your stuff and get to work. Slaves. |
Message | I do not support any of them de facto. But as i do not want to be completely against it, i as well as Okono are willing to discuss article 11. The party i am want to limit the power of the unions, but we want to do it gradually |
